Love the Italians!
Valerie--I love Italian wines, and the Sangiovese grape is among my favorites. This wine is sweet and smooth. The flavor doesn't pop as much as other Sangioveses, but it is still delicious. Make sure you bury your nose in the glass and take a good whiff. It smells delicious! I give the Quadriga an A.
Brutocao Quadriga wine 2005

The Wine of the Week for September12-19 is the 2005 Brutocao Estate Quadriga. One of the four varietals of Italian Wine of Brutocao Cellars, this wine is an award winner to the fullest. A delicious red blend of Sangiovese, Primitivo, Barbera and Dolcetta, this wine offers "a portrait of aromas and flavors that have resonated throughout the Mediterranean for centuries."
A bottle of 2005 Quadriga is $27.00 at Coming Home.
